The President and CEO of Loudin Insurance Agency Inc is William D. 'Bill' Hamilton.  Bill was born and raised in Upshur County.  He graduated from Buckhannon Upshur High School and attended Potomac State College.  Bill's insurance career started in 1971 when he started working for Equitable Insurance.  In July of 1974, Bill joined Loudin Insurance as a life and health agent.  He obtained his securities license in 1975 and property and casualty license in 1977.  He attended arson and fraud detection school in 1983.

During his insurance career, Bill has received numerous awards and commendations.  Among them are the Westfield Life Top 60 Club (which he has received five times) and he has also received the title of Professional Independent Agent of the Year in 2001.

He is a member of the West Virginia Association of Life Underwriters and has served as their regional delegate and delegate at large.  Bill has also a member of the Central West Virginia Association of Life Underwriters, and has held each office at least once.

Throughout his career, he has attended numerous communication seminars and classes.  He is an instructor for hunter safety courses and a guest lecturer for the business departments at West Virginia Wesleyan College and Buckhannon Upshur High School.  

Bill currently serves as a Delegate in the West Virginia Legislature representing the 39th District of Upshur County.  As a delegate, he serves on the  following committees:  Judiciary, Agriculture and Natural Resources where he serves as Minority Chair, and Industry and Labor where he serves as Minority Vice Chair..  He is a member of several organizations and professional associations on both the local and state levels.  Among them are the Tennerton Lions Club, B-U Chamber of Commerce, Southern Upshur Business Association (SUBA), Upshur County Fair Association, West Virginia Forestry Association, Franklin Lodge No 7 AF & AM, Professional Independent Insurance Agents of West Virginia, and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisers.

Bill is married to the former Sue Winemiller from Helvetia, West Virginia.  They have three children and four grandchildren.  Bill is a member of the Sand Run Baptist Church, Excelsior, WV.

Kristen Montgomery joined the agency in 1981.  She is a lifelong resident of Upshur County and a graduate of Buckhannon Upshur High School.  Kristen is a licensed life and health, personal property/casualty and commercial agent.  She also is the title and licensing manager for Loudin Insurance.  Kristen received recognition for 25 years of service to Westfield Insurance in 1999.  She will be happy to assist you in all phases of your insurance needs.

Kristen is a past member of the West Virginia Association of Life Underwriters and the Professional Insurance Agents of West Virginia.    She is a member of the Nay Chapel United Methodist Church where she teaches Sunday School, plays the piano and holds the office of Treasurer.

Her hobbies include gardening, needlework, and reading.  Kristen also is enjoys walking and working out at the fitness center.

Annette Hyre has been with Loudin Insurance since August of 1998.  She is a 1985 graduate of Buckhannon Upshur High School, Buckhannon, WV.   In 2001, Annette became a licensed property and casualty agent.  She will be happy to assist you with your personal and business insurance needs.

Annette was born in Elyria, Ohio.  Annette's parents, Hunter and Jayne Anderson were originally from Upshur County.  In 1981, when Annette was 14, they relocated back to southern Upshur County where they opened a restaurant business in Rock Cave.  

During her high school years and for several years after graduation, Annette worked in all phases of management and customer service at the family restaurant.   Annette chose not to continue in the restaurant business when her parents retired.  

Annette enjoys working with the public; meeting and helping people.  She is active in her community as well as all of Upshur County.  She is a member of the Upshur County Fair Association and has served several terms as its President.  She is the Fair's Pageant Director; a position which she has held for almost ten years.  Annette is also a member of the Southern Upshur Business Association, where she currently serves as chairperson for the Rock Cave Christmas parade.

She currently resides in Rock Cave with her husband Jason and son, Lucas Hunter Hyre.  Her hobbies include reading, interior decorating, and spending time with her family.

Ashlee Wagoner joined the staff of Loudin Insurance effective July 16, 2007.  Ashlee enjoys working with the public and is enthusiastic about starting her new career as a CSR/Administrative Assistant and plans to become a licensed agent in the near future.  Ashlee is a 2003 graduate of BUHS and a 2005 graduate of Fairmont State Community and Technical College.  She loves animals and has two German Shorthair Pointers; Lexie and Teaka.  She enjoys outdoor sports and spending time with her family and her fiancé Tommy.  Ashlee is the daughter of Danny and Donna Wagoner of Buckhannon.

Since 1999, Carolyn ‘Sue’ Hamilton has served as our Finance Manager and Human Resource specialist.  In addition, Sue assists with bookkeeping and performs all account reconciliation, payroll preparation, and quarterly tax returns. 

Sue graduated from Pickens High School in 1970.  She is a Magna cum Laude business graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College in Buckhannon and is a licensed CPA in the State of West Virginia.  She studied with the WV Center for Entrepreneurial Studies and Development, Inc where she became a trained facilitator.

Prior to joining Loudin Insurance, Sue served in several capacities while at Dominion Resources.  She brings expertise in the areas of finance, budgeting, forecasting, credit, and customer service.  While at Dominion, Sue represented the company on numerous special projects.  

Sue belongs to several professional and community service organizations.  Among her current or past memberships are:  WV Society of CPA's, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Charter member, Buckhannon Chapter of Toastmasters club, Pickens Alumni Council board member, Tri County Health Clinic board member, Southern Upshur Business Assoc. (SUBA), West Virginia Wesleyan College Alumni Council, Friends of Fiddler's Mill, American Legion Auxiliary, and I-79 Strategic Economic Planning Group.

Sue resides in Buckhannon with her husband Bill.  They have three grown sons and four grandchildren.  Sue enjoys reading, camping, boating, ATV riding, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Dennis Winemiller has provided Loudin Insurance technical assistance with their computer systems and web page design.  Dennis has several years of experience with computers, electronics, and communication products.  His experience has proven valuable and actually saved our company several hundred dollars in technical support calls.

He is a 1999 graduate of Braxton County High School in Sutton, WV and a Magna cum Laude graduate of Fairmont State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering Technology.

Dennis belongs to several organizations, including the IEEE (Institute for Electronics and Electrical Engineers), ARRL (American Radio Relay League), and the Chapel Volunteer Fire Department, where he currently serves as Communications Officer.

Dennis currently is employed as an Engineering Technician with Allegheny Power and resides near Morgantown.  He enjoys ATV riding, hiking, amateur radio, and spending time with his wife Ranae.
